Rubber
The rubber is an elastic polymer made up of sub-units of isoprene (a hydrocarbon organic compound) and also contains a small amount of proteins, fats, sugars and minerals. Natural rubber is produced from the resin of eucalyptus and various tropical trees and a number of other plants.
Initial evidence of rubber use dates from 1500 BC in Central America and South Mexico. The rubber was used at the time to make bottles, clothing, and toys for fun.
The rubber symbolizes flexibility and is an important raw material in the automotive industry and in the medical devices sealing and insulation industries.
